About this class
What you’ll do in the class
- In my studio, there are a variety of vessels artfully made on the potter's wheel, in particular the selection of unusual artistic cups is very extensive. But you can also give me wishes regarding the form in advance. Or you can also ask me in advance for a complete set that I will make for you.
- After the selection, we start together: We grind, experiment, with tricks and tricks, templates and inspiration. You have access to special brushes, sponges, stencils and masking tapes and, of course, special ceramic paints.
- Blanks that have not yet been fired can also be painted with engobe paints. These surfaces are easy to scratch, creating particularly exciting effects.
- In the end, your individual work of art is created. Learn a lot, have fun and enjoy a creative break from everyday life.
- After the course, I glaze your work with a clear glaze and burn it at around 1200 °C.
- As soon as everything is ready, after approx. 3 - 5 weeks, I will inform you immediately. You can then pick up your work from me.
Please talk to me in advance about special requests for ceramic blanks and stencils, as this requires a certain amount of lead time.
