About this class
In this pottery course near Lüneburg, you can let your imagination run wild and design your personal pottery. Whether it's a cup, vase, bowl or an individual object: You implement your ideas creatively and receive step-by-step support.
- You work with techniques such as plate technology
- You refine your work at the turntable
- You paint your ceramic directly on the clay with special paints
- You make pottery in a small group of a maximum of 5 people
This creates a calm, inspiring atmosphere in which you can concentrate entirely on your creative work. In the end, you take home your favorite piece of your own design.

- 1.2 kg high-quality clay
- Use of all tools

Teamevents and groups
The course is particularly suitable as a private or team event. If the number of participants is 8 to 10 people within a radius of 25 km, I will also come to you.
Location and accessibility
6 km from Lüneburg: Schnellenberger Weg 12, 21394 Südergellersen OT Heilgenthal, in an artist's studio. Local information about sights, cafes/restaurants. The Lüneburger Heide and the historic city of Lüneburg are worthwhile ;-)
What you’ll do in the class
- Welcome and introduction to using sound
- Presentation of various pottery techniques
- Working with plate technology, for example for cups, plates, vases and bowls
- Refining your work at the hub for a professional result
- Paint your ceramic with special paints on moist clay
- Individual support in implementing your ideas
- Choose your favorite piece at the end of the course
- After the course:
- Burn your pottery
- Completion after approx. 3-5 weeks
- Pick up on site

It was a really nice course, the rooms are cozy and Doris is a very nice and experienced instructor. The course was well thought out, you first learn the most important information about the material and techniques. Everything kept short, of course, so that it fits in with the time of the course. The time flew by and everyone was able to get their hands on a successful result in the end. The turntable remains more of an extra for the subtleties of the previously modelled piece. Absolutely suitable for beginners like me, you also want to take home something nice at the end. The group of a maximum of 4 people is great, as Doris is able to meet everyone's needs and answer all questions without taking long breaks. I can only recommend the course.
